4 delicious dishes you will never guess are healthy!

Sadly we grew up in a generation that believed in “No carb” and “No fat” torturous diets. The ones you manage to follow for 12 days before you collapse, gain back all what you have lost, swear at Gizelle's runway picture and say "It must be surgery". Truth is; I never knew that diet shouldn't be torturous until I came across the Fit Girl's diet.

Why I love it?

On my blog, I never share anything I personally don't believe in, follow, wear, apply or buy. Everyone around me knows I am a huge enthusiast for this particular diet as it helped me lose the very stubborn final 7-8 kilos that just wouldn't go away. After a year of yo-yo dieting, I found this one a breeze to follow, I actually craved its meals and I managed to lose all the extra weight at a very good rate.

Follow a diet that teaches you NOT to diet

Whichever diet you choose to follow, it needs to teach you the fundamentals of “Clean Eating”. It must encourage you to adopt a lifestyle that you can live with forever, eat everything you crave, nurture your body and remain healthy and energetic. 

With some of the FitGirls recipes I constantly asked myself “Am I cheating right now?” and “Maybe I added a bit more and it should be less?” but I wasn't cheating and it was the right portion. Its just simple, clean and healthy eating which you can easily achieve with a few substitutes in any recipe you like in general.

The Upside Down Cheese Cake

This ultimate treat will leave you wondering if you will ever miss the weekly trips to "Cheesecake factory". It contains regular creme cheese, ricotta and cracker crumbs and you can top it with raspberries or any other fruit you want for sauce. The fantastic thing about it is that its only 200 calories and works perfect as a daily treat or snack.

Banana & Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast

This great breakfast meal with banana, strawberry, oatmeal, yogurt and honey will leave you wondering if you can have this all day everyday! It has all the components that your body needs to remain energetic all day. Have some dark melted chocolate on top too and you are in for a treat.

Mac & Cheese

For all the cheese lovers out there, They call it "Stupid easy" in the FitGirl's cook book for a reason. Its incredibly easy to make, has tons and tons of hidden veggies in the middle and its not all carbs, and yet tastes very very delicious.

Pita Pizza Party

There is no girl who can survive long without pizza and for all those late night weekend nights cravings, substitute your Pizza Hut delivery for this healthy delicious one. The great thing here is that you can top it with whatever you like: Seafood, Chicken, Tuna (My favorite), eat the whole thing alone and keep those love handles under control!
