10 EASY STEPS TO LOOK GORGEOUS THIS SUMMER

Always hitting the beach only to wish you have spent a little bit more time in the gym, spent more time on your skin care, or even invested in trend(ier) summer wardrobe? Not this Summer!

Here is a super easy step-by-step guide to get you fit, fab and inside-out gorgeous in time for the hot season.

1.       GET.MOVING.NOW.
Fitness is simpler than you think, the whole idea is to move your body more than its used to so that it starts burning more calories. Start by adding a 30-minute walk to your daily routine or maybe take a short jog. Later on you can take a BARRE class 3 times a week for added toning and fitness (I swear by those).

2.       DRINK YOUR STARBUCKS
But this time, follow 3 simple rules: - Get Misto coffee instead of Latte, its half milk/half coffee instead of all milk (Like Lattes) and also cheaper.
- Order a smaller cup to cut on calories.
- And finally, If you NEED your Caramel Latte, you can still get it but 
ask for only 1-2 syrup pumps (instead of 6!). Enjoy.

3.       SWITCH TO BROWN
No need for torturous diets as your body DOES NEED carbs afterall. Just swap your white carbs for brown as a healthier alternative; Think brown toast with a fried egg for breakfast, brown Spaghetti Bolognese for lunch and a brown Pita bread pizza for dinner – control the portions and use organic/fresh ingredients whenever possible and you are on the right path.

4.       EAT CHOCOLATE
You HAVE to cut off refined sugar if you are serious about your summer body.But if you are still craving sweets; take one square of 85% dark chocolate a day. It has tons of benefits and will satisfy your sweet tooth while staying on track with your fitness.

5.       OVERDOSE ON WATER
A.k.a: Drink at LEAST 2.5 liters of water everyday day, your body and skin will love you for it. Add a slice of lemon to mix up the taste a bit.

6.       STICK TO A SIMPLE (BUT EFFECTIVE) SKIN ROUTINE
You know what you need to do: Cleanse,  Exfoliate, Moisturize and repeat.

7.       TRIM IT
Get a hair trim and remove all the dry ends before hitting the beach. And while you are at it, get a nourishing hair mask to revive that glow. Healthy hair is beautiful hair!

8.      CREATE A PERFECT SUMMER WARDROBE
Browse trendy Summer styles on blogs, magazines and Instagram for some inspos (Keep an eye on Curls & Glows too ;-)) then create a short list with everything you need and make sure you have a balanced mix of accessories and outfits. Settle on the budget then dedicate a weekend to shop away – Happy Shopping!

9.       MAKE-IT-UP
Ensure you have 5 essentials in your make-up bag: A soft eyeshadow palette, A bronze highlighter or your favorite cheek color, Eyeliner, Mascara and your Lipstick of choice. Next, try new and different make up styles at home (Search Make-up gurus on Instagram or Youtube) and you are good to go, gorgeous.

10.   INSIDE-OUT BEAUTY
You will never lead a happy life with a heavy mind, so you need to get rid of all negativity before Summer. How? Dedicate 30 minutes every day for YOU: Switch off your phone, dim the lights, sit quietly, and dig deep in your thoughts.

Get rid of all the negative energy.

Let go of all the anger and hatred.

Smile. Be positive and Be happy :-)
